Welcome to Timber Tech — Team 11399
Timber Tech is a rookie FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team based at Eau Claire High School in Eau Claire, MI. As a brand-new team for the 2026 season, our students and mentors are excited to dive into the world of competitive robotics, learning engineering, project management, programming, and teamwork from the ground up.
What Is FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC)?
FRC is the premier high-school robotics program from FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). Every year unique engineering challenges task teams to design, build, and compete with industrial-scale robots. FRC emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and “Gracious Professionalism®,” blending technical learning with community values.
Season Spotlight: REBUILT (2026)
The 2026 FRC season, titled REBUILT™ presented by Haas, kicks off on January 10, 2026. Under the season-wide theme FIRST® AGE™, teams take on the role of modern archaeologists—unearthing artifacts and reconstructing them using today’s technology.
Key themes & goals:
- Reimagine and reconstruct artifacts from the past.
- Collaborate to tell stories rooted in historical engineering.
- Apply STEM and teamwork to solve creative, mechanical challenges.
Season Kickoff — January 10, 2026
- The official FRC season kickoff event will be streamed live at 12:00 p.m. ET on the FIRST YouTube channel.
- Teams receive the Kit of Parts and the full game manual, and immediately begin brainstorming and prototyping.
- Timber Tech is gearing up for our first-ever kickoff—launching plans, assigning roles, and setting goals for building a solid, functional robot.
